Using Verse Runner
Verse Runner is a game to help people memorize Scripture. By using the app or this website you agree to these terms. If a child uses Verse Runner, a parent or guardian is responsible for that use and for any account created.
Accounts
You don't need an account to play. If you create one, it should be created by a parent, guardian or adult. Please give a real email address so you can reset your password, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has access to your account. You can delete your account at any time from the app or on our delete account page.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or get around its security, no automated access, and no use of it to harm others or break the law.
Our content
The game, its artwork, characters, sounds and text are owned by Scripture Memory Fellowship or used with permission. You may use them to play the game, but you may not copy, sell or redistribute them without our written permission. Bible text is used under license from its publishers — see the Bible translation credits.
Coins, pals and streaks
Coins, pals, medals, streaks and streak freezes are features of the game with no cash value. They can't be bought, sold, traded or exchanged for money. We may adjust balances, for example to correct a mistake.
Third-party links
The game and website link to other sites, such as ScriptureMemory.com, where books are sold and gifts are received. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Verse Runner running well, but it's provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.
Ending your use
You can stop using Verse Runner at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change we'll update the date above. Using Verse Runner after a change means you accept the updated terms.
